Trail mapping for Reiter Trails

Last night at the Snohomish Co. ORV meeting some decisions were made about signage. With the help of the Timber Tamers, PNW and several other groups, signs have been purchased and stickers for the signs that indicate which form of ORV (dirt bike, ATV or 4x4) is allowed and not allowed on trails. Now comes the part where we the users get to decide, with DNR oversight, which trails we want marked and how.
I committed the RTW org. to take on the 4x4 trails, and other groups will take on the ATVs and dirt bikes. As a result, at the next RTW meeting, we will be taking maps and marking trails we want designated 4x4. I think the majority of them we will all agree on, however, it will be the few that dirt bikers, ATVs and 4x4s will not agree on that will take the most amount of time.

This is the planning phase. Once we establish a plan, we will need volunteers to help install the signs and we are targeting the October Reiter Trails Clean Up (date TBD) for that.
